Still figuring myself out...

If everyone could just wear new clothes every day, I reckon depression wouldn't exist anymore.

Rebecca Bloomwood, Confessions of a Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella

Hilarious book quote. Lol.
I read the book again for approximately the whole day (since I woke up -which was around lunch time).

Anyway, this is stored in my cellphone (Drafts folder) a little past midnight:

Another fairytale ending I'll surely indulge in.

Watched Confessions of a Shopaholic on the 'net (I know that's illegal but please don't imprison me..) a while ago a little before the clock struck 12. Romantic comedy, I must say. :)

Luke is gorgeous (geez, I've been boy crazy these past few days -what shame!).

ANYWAY, I didn't picture Rebecca Bloomwood to be that perky and quirky. And I expected Luke to be cleanly shaved. (Lol.) To be honest, I can't remember how loyal the movie was to the original book. It's been more than a year or two since I've read it -and actually, I haven't read any of the sequel to it yet. What? There's been 4 already if I'm not mistaken..

Anyway, I shall read to book SOON -when the memory of the movie's still fresh in my mind (so I can compare and relive the story :p). As for now, ciao!
I enjoyed the movie. ;)

So, as I've mentioned earlier I reread the book and I saw how the movie is completely out of line with the book though if you'd look at both separately, they're both lovely -though I prefer the book (much more details and all). Anyway, I'm dying to read the following books (can't afford it though! Ugh.)

March ends this midnight and April begins soon enough.
Summer days are counting down...

Fuck you.
You just did partner.

Keith: I screwed you. I screwed you big time.
Natalie: So you screwed me. So what? Me? I made love to you.

Best movie line ever. Hahaha! Kidding. It's pretty romantic if you get to watch the scene..

Spiked Heels - Tree Adams
(The movie's theme song which kept playing throughout the movie -there were other OSTs of course- but I never got tired of it. It's beautiful -like a lullaby.)

Just watched Keith and I must say it's very romantic -in a drama-ish way..
As I've said, I'm no good at explaining feelings nor at summarizing plot but what I can say is the story plot is very original (somewhat) and the movie moves slowly -no rush- but is not boring.

I wish I could use lavish words to persuade you into watching but what keeps coming out of my mouth is that 'you should watch it', 'you should watch it'.

Darn! I wish I am a little better at explaining how things make me feel but unfortunately, I'm not gifted with that gift -unlike some people I know. Oh well. I shall try next time.

I must say I'd fall in love with Keith too -his character not Jesse McCartney.

P.S. The soundtrack is awesome. ;)

It's always been one of my dreams to style clothing or to see my line on a runway show.
And, what better way to practice with a Yahoo! Game. Lol. ;)

50th Post Was Yesterday

I have just read Gathering Blue by Lois Lowry and it's such a good read, I recommend it to everyone else.

I'm not very good at describing how I feel every time I finish reading a book. You can ask me to describe other things and I can help you visualize it but...ask me to describe a feeling using adjectives, adverbs and other descriptive words, surely, every word I use would be an understatement (or an overstatement, possibly) of what I want to express. Somehow, words don't sum-up to how you feel -just like how pictures can't always capture what you see and how you feel about what you see.

Gathering Blue
is a companion to Lowry's The Giver which precedes it. The book I've read way back which I loved and adored just the same. It's a set of three actually, The Giver, Gathering Blue, and lastly, The Messenger -which is not only a companion to Gathering Blue but more of a sequel. It's sort of a spin-off -I think. I can't wait to get my hands on a copy and see what becomes of Kira and the others.
Buy me one?

I wish to turn this series into a movie someday. *sigh*

Now, I must soothe this 'emotional uproar' by listening to some mellow music.

All the Pictures have been Burned

Don't Forget - Demi Lovato

Demi Lovato - Don't Forget - Official Video (HQ)

The song has its official music video out. Yay!
I personally believe the video is beautiful nice cinematography and lighting. The roadtrip in a trailer (?) with the band part, the carousel scene under the umbrella with the pouring rain and the pounding/smashing water works in the background is superb. Overall, dramatic.

I want to direct music videos in the future. No full length movies for me -I haven't the patience...yet.

I think CHRIS RAYMOND from 13 The Musical is nice-looking -he's beautiful green (if I'm not colorblind and not mistaken..) eyes. Lol. I'd like to watch it on broadway but unfortunately, I'm in another part of the globe. Ohwell. Lol.

That should be all for now, I'm officially a house bum. *evil laugh*
Will update later, perhaps..

But you won't sing along.."

Stalking the Halls of Our High School Building

"I would choose no other life than the life I have had and no other death than the one we go to."

And so goes Jewel's bravery in the 7th installment of The Chronicles of Narnia.
I must say, the book is very exciting all right. It got my heart racing as the adventure took me from one heart-pumping scene to another. The book drowned me in its world of fantasy which I can't wait to see on the big screen! However, there is no news of it being on the works (at least I haven't heard any yet) though book 5 and 6 (The Voyage of the Dawn Treader and The Silver Chair) already have their profiles at IMDb's site. Mind you, I haven't read those two yet. As unconventional as unconventionals can get, I started at the wrong end of the series. Lol. I read the last book first (The Last Battle) before any of the other books -of which I have no access to. The last book happens to belong to Scholastic's set of books for the first year students (each year has their own) and coincidentally, I hung out at the first year floor with my freshmen busmates after finishing the clearances (finally, it's summer for moi) and was left with nothing to do.

Hmm...I figure I shall start with how my day started (though somehow, everytime I am to narrate a story, I get bored, rather my enthusiasm for telling dies down somewhere in the middle of it all and I soon end my story with a rush).

I woke up (not to the sound of my alarm clock) due to the heat of sharing a wall fan with two roommates (siblings), lying on the lower bunk of a double deck. Remorsefully, I look at my cellphone (which lay next to me) to check the time: 4:55. My alarm doesn't go off 'til an hour later (I wanted to wake-up at 6 'cause I happen to be sure that I can get ready under 30 minutes). I transfer to my parents' bedroom where I know there's better ventilation. When I woke up it was 15 minutes to 6. I rose from the bed, took a bath and had trouble sorting out which clothes to wear (I happen to be running out of clothing...). It took me a while to get dressed so everything else that I should have done afterwards was delayed. I bought pandesal from the nearby bakery at our place to hear the honk of our school service from the back of our house. Returning home, I grab two hot ones (pandesals) from the paperbag and head out -to be slightly scolded by our bus mother "Ang tagal mo naman."

Arriving in school, I meet a classmate who lacks a few requirements (which she passed that time). I headed to get the clearance, included her reply slips to the reply slips folder, signed her clearance paper and headed to the first year floor -where my busmate and I slept (lounge area) until the clock nearly struck 9am (it wasn't that long a sleep).
When I woke up I noticed Ninna (the person I was with) reading a book so I browsed for one. And so, fast forward to me reading the last installment of The Chornicles of Narnia: The Last Battle. I got caught up so I finished it through the day (I had to bring it home because 11 pages remained unread when it was already dismissal. I finished it during the bus ride home). Of course, there were delays within the day -like having lunch outside of school with my beloved busmates and Pau (a friend) crashing to the air-conditioned satellite library where my busmates and I were reading. There was also a classmate whom I met up with so I can finally clear her.
I'm finally done with the clearnaces! Rejoice! Summer has officially started for me. :)

The day before today (yesterday -I just wanted to complicate things) I was with my other batchmates who were to be usherettes for the upcoming graduation of the 4th year (congratulations!) and was pushing Ayna's i-Touch to full use. We had extremely, extremely fun time during the latter part of the day -using this Yo Mamma application over and over again. Instant picker-upper! We laughed not only our heads off but even our buts and guts and all the could be off (what the?). It was just plain roll-on-the-floor-laughing fun! I wish can quote some of the jokes but unfortunately, the jokes only lasted as they lasted on the screen of the gadget -the laughter lasted longer though. (Did I make sense?)

I had been in school for five school days already since we were officially "dispatched-off" last March 19. And now, my vists has come to an end (hurrah!). I shall miss however being "busy". Now, I must resort to bumming 'round the house -surfing the 'net, eating and sleeping (ah, the sluggish life!).

Looking up quotables in IMDb. Click THIS -The Curious Case of Benjamin Button quotes.
I wistfully remember the movie...

"Benjamin, we're meant to lose the people we love. How else would we know how important they are to us?"

"You can be as mad as a mad dog at the way things went. You could swear, curse the fates, but when it comes to the end, you have to let go."

"Our lives are defined by opportunities, even the ones we miss. "

"It's a funny thing about comin' home. Looks the same, smells the same, feels the same. You'll realize what's changed is you."

The best:

Daisy: "Would you still love me if I were old and saggy?" Benjamin Button: "Would you still love ME if I were young and had acne? When I'm afraid of what's under the bed? Or if I end up wetting the bed?"

"all of the king's horses and all of the king's men
couldn't pull my heart back together again all of the physicians andmathematicians too failed to stop my heart from breaking in two"
The Humpty Dumpty Love Song - Travis

Anthony Hope (Jamie Campbell Bower) in Sweeney Todd

Oh, hello hot boy with a British accent.

And listen to him sing:

But it'd be better if you watch him:

I actually think he looks like a girl. My sister just refereed him to me. I'm learning to appreciate his 'beauty'.

Where'd My Halo Go?

I could say that summer has officially started for me but the truth is, it hasn't.
I'm not really complaining about it...-going back to school is keeping me busy at least.
I don't want to be simply a house bum -which I most probably would be if I've finished 'doing' the clearances. Lol.

Something's bringing me down
It's when money doesn't go around
I have to choose between need and want
There's nothing I can do if I just rant

That pretty much summarizes how I feel right now.
I have to...'lakads' today. They don't really require me to pay for anything except maybe for transportation issues but geez, there's too much to pay for this summer -review classes for my brother and I; my dance (maybe -it's too selfish! :|)...and why now when there's no income to bring home to the house?

Hahaha! My mom brought something up just now. I'll still push-thru with Expert's! YAY! :)) Got to be with friends (hey, that's not my only reason).

Screw what I posted earlier, I feel lighter now. Shouldn't have taken it all out here. :D Pardon moi? :)

Last day of school (official one for everyone) was last 19th! Rejoooice! Eastwood (the usual) with almost the whole BG (shocking)!

Mara, Reg, Joy, Iana, Hannah, Jean, ME, Ida, Clara plus, plus, Milan and Iggy.

It was Reg's first time (you can drop your jaws) -so, tour, tour! Hahaha! Kidding. The Eastwood mall was niiice. Especially the movie house part. Oh those lights are cr-azy! :>

Had fun with Big Group! <3

Mara, Ida and Clara are not in the picture

Party 'till dawn. =)) Kidding.

Pick-me Up Song for Today:

But that's the way it has to be

It's in my heart,
I felt your world has come to rest,
As if you're out on your last breath,
And slowly fading with these days we choose to miss,
Keep holding on,
It's not to late
Don't make this seem,
As if there's nothing left to be
There's so much more to life
We tend to just forget
Don't forget

It's just
But give it time to know it's real
Before you're ready
To face it and begin to heal
Your life's worth living
For someone give their all to feel
Their heart's stopped beating
So give yourself another chance to change
With tomorrow comes a better day

It's time to start
To face the things that you fear most
To know you're better off alone
To stand up fighting with your will to carry on
It's only then
Will you see sides that you don't know
You're finding paths just take them slow
And step by step you'll find
It's easy to forget
Don't forget

It's just
But give it time to know it's real
Before you're ready
To face it and begin to heal
Your life's worth living
For someone give their all to feel
Their heart's stopped beating
So give yourself another chance to say

Swear you'll live by what you know
You'll take it in don't let it go
More times than not we let them fall

It's just
But give it time to know it's real
Before you're ready
To face it and begin to heal
Your life's worth living
For someone give their all to feel
Their heart's stopped beating

It's just temporary,
Well that's the way it has to be
But ordinary
It takes away from everything
It's just temporary
But that's the way it has to be

Temporary - Amber Pacific

Best I Ever Had - Vertical Horizon

Play That Song Again

Listening to Geraldine for the nth time. Lol. (And, that's just me exaggerating.)

To count and check and to recount and recheck the reply slips of 48 people with the sun going down and you staying on the lower bunk of a double deck is not good for your head, nor your eyes, nor your neck, nor your back. Add to that, sending messages to your classmates -whose numbers are not in your phonebook because the cellphone you are using is not yours- in the dark (due to the sundown) has the same results.

Now, I must soothe my mind.
Good thing I've studied Chemistry and Algebra already (and my fear appears from the corner -yet again- to making me believe that I've forgotten what I've studied).

I'm down to studying Filipino -which I'm trying to delay.
I just gotta blog first don't I? -And listen to music!- It's soothing. *sighs and grins foolishly like*

I think I burned our viand -typing away made me forget it. Oops.
I checked it though -still good. Lol.

I wonder what'll happen to me if I choose not to study for Filipino...-there's only one way to find out. HAHAHA. Just kidding..

It's only today that I didn't sleep when I've arrived home. Yesterday, I slept before reviewing. Today...I lied down in bed, thought of sleeping first and then told myself I'll semi-review for Algebra first which turned into 'serious' reviewing -and then I decided to add Chemistry on the list so I studied that as well. If I'll evaluate the effectivity of my study time, I understood the lessons and...feel that I've stored 'em up in my brain.

I just checked my answers for the Algebra activity sheet and I now know that I know how to do the Elimination/Addition Method.

What am I talking about?
That's pure "nonsense" blogging.
That won't even interest me if I were to read this blog..

Well, here's something interesting to feed on.
An excerpt from our English test -the short story we read from which I've quoted some lines by copying them on a small piece of paper (a discarded temporary test permit which I kept in my pocket):

"They exist outside of their relationship to me."

""Nana," I said. I couldn't keep up the pretense longer, adding one more burden to my load of guilt, leading her on this way, playing a pathetic game of make-believe with an old woman clinging to memories. She didn't seem to hear me."

""I sit here these days, Mike," she said, her voice a lullaby, her hand still holding mine, "and I drift and dream. The days are fuzzy sometimes, merging together. Sometimes it's like not here at all but somewhere else altogether. And I always think of you. Those years we had. Not enough years, Mike, not enough..."

Those are the passages I found dramatic and significant. The story's beautiful though I couldn't and wouldn't summarize it for you -I fear that my summary wouldn't do the actualy story justice.

The story's The Moustache by Robert Cormier.

Someone shoot me.
It's the last day of school tomorrow (somehow it's still not sinking in) and I've no plans yet on how to spend the rest of the day once tests are over.

I should really be studying.
Pardon the senseless post..

I get to sleep early today.

Taken Over By The Fear

The Fear - Lilly Allen

Ooh. I fear that I've forgotten all that I've studied earlier today. I pray, I don't - I seriously don't want to go through everything all over again.

I fear that become of having aced the past 2 Geometry tests, I'm going to slack off, confident that if I've aced the past test whose contents will be similar to that of the last test, then I'll ace it too. Have you ever experienced overconfidence backfiring at you? I fear I will not be 'granted' a high grade because I took it too lighty. I review though but not throughly. I 'expect' (how dare I expect) that I will eventually remember what I've studied when I'm given the problems to solve.

Some new knowledge added to my previous one?
The surface area of a pyramid is one-half of the answer to its perimeter multiplied by its length/height plus its base] and its volume is one-third of...*thinking*...[base area times its height] .
For a cone, its surface area is (I can't remember!) *rushes back to room and checks her geometry notebook*...pi-radius multiplied by its length/height to which pi-radius is added. The volume of it is equal to pi-radius-squared times height.

Correct me if I'm wrong.
It would be highly appreciated.

As for History...I just wish I'll ace the sequencing of events -somehow I just don't know which comes before which or which comes after which (get the point?).
May I remember the details...*fingers crossed*

I shall sleep soon! It's almost 10?! :o

Geometry, History and English tomorrow!

"You don't see what you possess, a beauty calm and slear
It floods the sky and blurs the darkness like a chandelier
All the light that you possess is skewed by lakes and seas
The shattered surface, so imperfect, is all that you believe.

You Are the Moon - The Hush Sound

I'm Your Social Worker

When your sparkle evades your soul
I'll be at your side to console
When your standing on the window ledge
I'll talk you back from the edge
I will, I will turn your tide

Be your Shepard and your guide

When your lost in the deep and darkest place around

May my words walk you home safe and sound

When you say that I'm no good and you feel like walking
I need to make sure you know that's just the prescription talking

When your feet decide to walk you on the wayward side

Climbing up upon the stairs and down the downward slide

I will, I will turn your tide

Do all that I can to heal you inside
I'll be the angel on your shoulder

My name is Geraldine, I'm your social worker

I see you need me
I know you do

Geraldine - Glasvegas

I can't help but post this. The lyrics is so soothing.
I am currently stressed, body and mind -but more of mentally stressed. HAHAHA. Lol. :|
Anyway, I'm trying to relax my mentality first -gotta prepare it for some serious(?) studying to do. Quarterly tests are starting tomorrow and I got to pile on the patience -and energy- for 3 more school days. Just 3 more!
And soon, my third year in highschool is over.

Pray that I get the clearances finished on time (fingers crossed)!

Hmm...additional infromation about the song, I consider it as "my" song for all my lovely friends (if you're not lovely, you're not included. Lol. KIDDING)!
I find it so sweet and caring *blush*.

I shall relax my brain...

"Just for tonight,
just maybe we'll make it."

Just for Tonight - One Night Only

To Base My Gay Bestfriend On You

Because he also plays a gay guy on some British TV series (should watch that this summer).

And Then I Pinky Swore With Him

With Clark of Not So Fast that's who! Lol.

Battle of the Bands + guest bands and San Beda Rizal last night with friends.
Only a few people came and I bet most of them were students of the school themselves so we were pretty much considered outsiders. We got the chance to stay upfront, and when I say upfront, I meant really upfront. If only I could go up the stage I would have.

It was an adventure. (HAHA!) We thought Not So Fast was the third band to play so we waited upfront for the longest time to be delayed by bands who were contestants of the battle. We pretty much got the point that they were going to play late but still we waited, hopeful. Later on after all the battle contestants have played and Iren was nearing its performance's end (I like their genre), we saw Not So Fast going backstage already (in the literal sense of it) so we went there to have pictures taken with tha band. However, when it was our turn, they were already to play next so we told them, particularly Clark, that we'll have pictures taken afterwards and he said sure. I asked him to pink swore on it so...there went my pink swear! Lol.

They played and boy were we sooo near. There was also this part wherein Clark jumped off the stage to play on the ground and he was literally inches from me -and guess what? That time, my camera didn't want to work! And oh, my camera lost its batt after their performance sooo...rely on my friend's cam to take a picture with the band. I only got one picture of the whole band.
I like their drummer. :>

It's a shame to admit this but I am not really a die-hard fan -it was my first time to hear them play thought they've played in our school for 2 consecutive school years already. Lol.
I don't know much of their songs.
However, I do like their choice of music when they played. Nice genre.

I shall blog again later.
Today, is study day.

Tests tomorrow and for the rest of the week!
Last 4 school days to go and then adieu Junior year!

Give me more of Cole Mohr

I can't believe I just gave you a cheer for a title. Lol.
I am currently working on my story and I'm trying to picture how I want them to look like an one is highly based on Cole Mohr.
I came across his Marc Jacobs ad campaign:

earlier today and snap! -perfect frontman for my band. Lol.

I shall get ready for tonight's concert.

I get tired of waiting wondering if you were ever coming around

Love Story - Taylor Swift

Got this off youtube.
Love Story cover by The Right Coast -for those who prefer electric guitars and drums over plucked acoustic guitar.

I'm actually continuing my English story (finally some productive work!) but I'd have to set it aside for this week. Have to.
I got our final test for this school year next week (4 days left!) so I shall really burn the midnight candle.

Yesterday, we had lab subject so we worked with these organic compounds and observed their distinct and characteristic odors, colors, combustibility, etc. There was one which was very revolting -smells like rotten fish but definitely worse- METHYL AMINE (that's the name if I'm not mistaken).

I will be going to my brother's school with friends this afternoon for a Battle of the Bands + guest bands concert.
I shall blog about it later.

"Cause if you jump,
I will jump too.
We wil fall together."

Skyway Avenue - We The Kings

I wanna, I wanna, I wanna...

I Wanna - The All-American Rejects

Ni hao! :)

First things first, I cannot believe I did not KNOW The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus had a mall tour here! I seriously cannot believe that the news of them holding/giving "mini" concerts in Ayala malls did not reach me. How frustrating. I like that band!

Not more than I like Secondhand Serenade!!
He's (it's a one-man-band right?) going to have mall tours 'round here in Ayala malls.
Find out for yourself.

I shall invite my emo buddies! Hahaha! ;) I know that his songs are more or less 'emo' and I could just picture him singing to the crowd, the atmosphere melancholic, but I am absolutely enjoying every second. *sigh*

The Pamulatan had a production earlier (see above picture for ticket) and I must say it was great if only it wasn't for the racketing audience -I included from time to time (sorry!). It's entitled God of this City -based on Chris Tomlin, I think. It was directed, written by one of the 4th years and she's extremely talented: sings well, speaks well, acts well...triple threat? :)) INFERIORITY COMPLEX. Haha! Kidding.

Todaaay, is also interview-the-next-set-of-comheads-day! I didn't proceed with my application -I had doubts about so the Logistics Committee's official head is...-drumroll please!- Ara Villena. I'd want to be part of the preparation for the school fair too but I must admit, my interest for the 'position' is not as great as how much I want to be the Yearbook head next year as well as a class officer. ..Maybe I'd go for a legacy head too? HAHA. I should remain realisitic thought and create tangible goals. Lol.

I want to work on my blog layout now and make it my own.
-Because I'm selfish like that.

I caught myself.

If You Could Only Know Me Like Your Prayers At Night

The Day You Said Goodnight - Hale

The thing that struck me the most today was during our Computer period.
We have 4 columns in the classroom lined-up with chairs and the self-explanatory name of the subject. There's a big aisle in the middle that separates the 4 columns into two and usually, the teacher would be infront, near the projector, to address the whole class. I'm seated at the back so I know how the volume of her voice is not so loud when you're placed there. Imagine to my surprise when her every word she said today was very audible to my ears -only to find that she's using a mic whose speakers are placed at the corners of the classroom (the two corners upfront only). The good thing about that it's not really obvious that she's using a mic or something. It just sounds so smooth and clear, like an ominous being talking to you. Lol. It's very interesing and hi-tech. *wink*

Today, I've got my English story peer-edited (thank you Ara and Ayna!). The story's inspired by a song as I've mentioned from my previous post (I think). Ayna was so considerate she made me a playlist for the story (click on the picture above). I haven't finsihed my story yet but I do hope to! I will be submitting an excerpt of it for my written composition in English.
I'm currently making a playlist of the songs above plus some more. I'm also listening to The Weepies on MySpace. I'm liking them so far; adorable and cute!

I've written a song for my story -for the ending part (spoiler!).
It's not so original though -specifically the first line.
I was humming it next to HSM3's Can I Have This Dance.
Imagine that?

No plagiarizing.
It sounds like Kimya Dawson/the soundtrack of Juno.

I'll send you a postcard to remind you
Of how I've been feeling so blue
I'd write you a love song, a lullaby
Make you remember you told me goodbye
I hear our song on the radio
It's making me cry, oh no

But I won't dream about you
But I won't think about you
But I won't speak about you
Until I forget you too

This is my way of letting go
I'd exhale our memories out
And though there're pieces left to sow
I'd heal this heartache no doubt

I'll give you a picture of the two of us
Remind you of how they'd made a fuss
I'd return the flowers you gave me
They dried up like the tears you didn't see
I recall our best and worst memories
They sting me like sweet honeybees

Maybe I'd still dream about you
Maybe I'd still think about you
Maybe I'd still speak about you
But it won't hurt no more

"You don't know how lovely you are."
The Scientist - Coldplay

Broken Ends

I would have embedded Gwen Stefani's Hollaback Girl music video but after I watched that another video followed and I found the song very nice. That's the reason why Natasha Bedingfield is singing Soul Mate up there.

"Who doesnt' long for someone to hold
Who knows how to love you without beign told
Somebod tell me why I'm on my own
If there's a soulmate for everyone."

I did not quote that because I can relate to it, love life speaking but I just agree with the first line of that chorus..who doesn't long for someone to hold?. Who doesn't?
This line caught my attention too:

"Here we go again, circles never end
How do I find the perfect fit?"

A random thought: I really (square this a zillion times) want to dance this summer rather than enroll myself in review classes (that's sort of compulsory though when you're about to go into your last year in high school -ACK!). I wish I could enroll myself in both but my brother's enrolling in a review class as well and at the moment, my parent's don't have a fixed income so how dare I add to their financial worries?
I really want to though! ...scholar?

Today, I aced my Chem quiz! Yay! Haha. Well, I almost did. :p I got a minus 2 because of not alphabetizing a certain name of an organic compound...
I "enjoyed" the test results I got today. Pretty pleased. I think I will never be fully satisfied with a high grade unless I got a perfect score -I'm becoming that grade conscious..

...I should really be working on my English story now.
I've begun a fourth story already and so far I've not ended any of the four. I always let my writings hanging loose, dangling and waiting to be caught. I should really muster enough patience and enthusiasm to finish at least one. I'm sure it would be worth it..
The problem though is, the number of pages I could write is limited and that prevents me from elaborating -though I want to- and from being detailed -though I am.

Meet me at the bleachers,
no principals, no student-teachers.

Hollaback Girl - Gwen Stefani

I'm currently checking out Lookbook again and currenlty enjoying it too.
I have to check my mail -I'll do that in a while after this.

Anyway, today is a normal Wednesday school day and I've got a project deadline to meet, an English test, a Chemistry quiz, a take-home-quiz in Geometry to pass as well as an Algebra homework.

So far, the only things not checked in the check list is the test and the quiz -and the submission of my project (collage: see pic above, I like this picture down here better if it weren't for the flash which ruined it).

OOH! Yesterday was f-u-n.
Our school's sports complex was finally opened and blessed yesterday. It was lovely and exhilarating. :) I badly wanted to take pictures but sadly, we weren't even allowed to bring gadgets except for a chosen few -school newspaper and yearbook photographers. There were 'cheaters' thought of course but sometimes unfortunately, sometimes not, I'm a good student.
It started with a mass and then the blessing (it was excruciatingly hot but I managed with a fan and by staying still). I loved the homily of the father about love; how we're familiar to the feeling but how it is not associated with feelings in the bible (see Corinthians, the famous love description). He said a lot of things I wanted to quote but sadly, I had no paper with me -and you don't usually write during a mass do you?- and my memory is not that good at remembering (I really believe I have a problem...). However, I know I took it to heart what he said and I'll just put that to action (yes!).
After the mass, since it was the celebration of our school's saint's birthday (was it this one?), we had free ice cream! I got mine late though because we went to high school building and back so not only did I get an almost melted ice cream but I also didn't get my preferred flavor: ube. As I was opening it, a portion even fell off to the table! Lol.
Oh well, I still ate it with gusto anyway. Who wouldn't want an ice cream on a hot day?

School service on the way. ;)

My Hair is a Tangled Mess

Hello, hello! Lol.

Today is stressful -nice way to greet you guys huh?
Well it is but I'm passing through it with flying colors -colors that are a bit dull and fading. Hahaha!
Hmm...let's see. I haven't been very productive this weekend. It's been pretty much about our Peace Advocacy alone which, I am glad to say, is almost finished. Now, I have a public school teacher + reflection to do, my English story, my Health collage, my OJT reflection (count this one out I've done that but the project itself is still on the works) aaand.....I dunno what else. All of those I've enumerated were given weeks ago but since I'm a procrastinator and a crammer, they're still not done up to now.

We were given a Geometry take-home quiz, a Chemistry activity sheet and Algebra homework today. All of which I did during lunch time. Much to my surprise, I finshed all of it in 45-50 minutes -the whole of lunch period- and I wasn't able to eat. Lol. I was actually shocked to see the minute hand pointing to 1 and the hour hand too. 1:05 was the time I finshed and well...lunch ended at the same time and the bell dramatically rang. I've promised, I'll be posting our peace advocacy project making pictures so feed on these:

I'll end my post with a song which served as my inspiration for my English story:

And late night calls
are only daylight souvenirs.

Support our Peace Adovacy campaign for Gender Equality.
Kudos to Nevertheless especially Allen and our group!

The video's poor though -I'm frustrated with those blurry pictures.
Oh well. I'll do better next time. (That's the spirit!)

The song recording and video shoot was exhausting but is such an experience! It was fun.
I shall post more about it and upload photos next time as well.

Meanwhile, cherish this. Lol.

MGMT Playlist Playing

Well hello everyone! :)

My earlier feeling of dying to blog has died down and as of this moment I don't have much of the enthusiasm I had earlier -and trust me, that affects my writing.

Speaking of writing, I am tasked to write a short story for my English subject and up to know, I have no plot yet. Great.
I have bits and pieces of the story but I have yet to sew them all together to see the outcome.

So how was my day?

I woke up around 15-30 minutes earlier than my wake-up times for the past days -I don't know how much sleep I'm depriving myself off but my body's definitely trying to catch up. I've been waking up past 6am for 2 days straight -today, I woke up around 5:30 maybe? That's an improvement. I seem to forget the last time I woke up at 5:15...

Of course I still had time to blow-dry my hair (most people think I got it done somewhere!) -that's my trick for straight hair. I dunno how I figured that out. It sort of started during a hot production-practice day wherein my friend and I were cooling ourselves with the classroom electric fans. I mentioned I dry my hair using that and we figured we have a similarity in that but she added that she flips her hair such that those nearest the nape of the neck is the 'target' hit on by electric fan -she says it dries hair faster and makes it look better. I tried it that Sunday and voila!, my hair became straight. Interesting
Ever since then, I make time to blow dry my hair -I am personally ashamed that I am becoming a slave of it. I'm becoming pretty vain and I need someone to poke a needle to my ballooning head before it gets worse..
That was prom night weekend, from what I remember.
Monday after that they thought I got a new haircut...I just got bangs (for prom) and I changed my hair parting from the right to the middle -as it should be. It's not straight, stick's..-let's just say it's better shan't we?

OH WELL. Enough about my hair and I -I told you I'm becoming obsessed about it- that's not the point.

So, where was I?
Oh wake-up routine.
The school service arrived late as usual and we had the 'kids' on board and we sadly didn't fit inside anymore and I was fated to carry the annoying-don't-know-if-you're-good-don't-know-if-you're-bad-preschooler on my lap.
So fast-forward to arriving at school, let's skip the high school assembly part and then zoom on to our Algebra test which welcomed III-2 students with open arms and a warm hug which the my classmates and I feared to embrace back. It took me a while to answer them because in any test where mathematics is involved, I do it slowly step-by-step. And thank God our teacher extended the time or else I wouldn't have noticed my carelessness though I still believe there are some that I missed. :| Good luck with that.

We watched a ballet production of Alice in Wonderland afterwards and I must say, I was pleased! The costume and the props most especially and of course the ballerinas themselves. You could just see the effort they put in it. I loved the costumes with black tulle and the queen's gold and white costume I must say, I wanted to covet and make it my own.

We had our History test after lunch and was not as easy-as-cake but not as hard as...what can I compare it too?
Fine, let's just say I breezed through it ...somehow. :p

That ends my blog post I guess. I must say goodbye now.

I send you my kiss!

sometimes the hardest thing and the right thing are the same"

All At Once - The Fray

What right do I have to pick on others' faults when I commit the same faults myself?
Won't I be such a hypocrite in doing such?

What do you do when the right thing is battling its way to publicity?
Do you fight it back and try to prevent it from surfacing..or do you let it be?

What if doing what you ought to do entails corrupting your relationships?
Will you allow it? Or would you rather save yourself from losing loved ones?

Nothing feels so satisfying than doing what is right.

Last Friday, I went to a legacy concert! Yay!
Parokya ni Edgar was fun! And so were ALL STARS!!!
I was starstruck man. I was in awe. They were definitely jaw-dropping.
Kudos to them and all the Yr.IV students! ;)
