Indian Summer in the Middle of a Winter

Looklet

Some looks I came up with in the site mentioned above.
It's addictive!
It's invite only though. :) I got an invitation on Hannah S.' of Lookbook blog. :)

Celebrated mass yesterday.
Worked my new hair'do and my rocker outfit.
I felt like a boy and I liked it.

School will be back tomorrow and officially, classes begin for the 4th quarter.
For the past 2-3 weeks, we haven't exactly had what I'd call formal classes...
We just had classes in between activities -wherever they would fit.

For 2 weeks, we prepared for a school production which supposedly I was a part of but due to financial crises and all, I decided to back out because of the costume price I didn't want to pay for so I ended up with prop-making -it was laborious and exhaustive but fun!

For another week, we had our CEM tests and prom preparations. -That week, we only had one day with classes.

This weekend, I had my prom. :) As revealed by my previous post. I'd give anything to have another one. :p

I send my love!
xoxo

Broken Strings by James Morrison ft. Nelly Furtado

Who would not love James Morrison's voice blending with Nelly Furtado's?
I'd give anything to hear a man serenade me with that voice.

"Oh what are we doing
We are turning into dust."

NOW PLAYING:
Just For Tonight by One Night Only

2.21.2009

The clock has struck midnight.
The glass slipper has been taken-off.
The kiss has awakened the sleepy.
The frog has turned into a prince.

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the night has come to an end. The magic has gone but its memory lingers and tingles inside the depths of our heart. The music will keep ringing in our ears, the lights will keep blinding our eyes. The memory of a night of dolling-up and dancing nonstop in those 3-inch heels will stay forever. The excitement the ladies have felt when they've applied that first layer of make-up, twisted their hair up for class and elegance, zipped up that gorgeous dress and slipped on their heels will always be one of their girlish delights -an excuse for all of them to be beautiful and princess-like. Indeed, the event La Vieja Manila, is for keeps.

The night has ended for me and I am somewhat sad that it has. It will be a long while before I get to dress-up again and have the excuse to do so. I will miss applying that thin swipe of liquid eyeliner to shape my eyes , coating my lips with that perfect shade in between red and pink, sweeping my cheeks rosy and furnishing my lashes with mascara to keep them curled. I will miss dancing to the rhythm, beat and melody of the live band as well as of the music on the playlists. I would even miss the ache the soles of my feet suffered due to walking, standing and even dancing on those shoes with a 2 1/2 inch heel each.

I'm glad I have pictures to stay with me. :)

Playlist for the night:
Just For Tonight - One Night Only
Not Nineteen Forever - The Courteeneers
I Still Remember - Bloc Party
Northern Downpour - Panic at the Disco
Everything's Magic - Angels and Airwaves

Cinderella should sleep...

I, I still remember
How you looked
That afternoon
There was only you
You said "it's just like a full moon"

I Still Remember - Bloc Party
